I recently got a new keyboard for my computer at home. I’m really pretty picky about mice and keyboards, so finding a new one takes me a long time. Last year I got a Logitech G7 mouse that I really like after my friend Carrie recommended it to me. It’s a nice laser mouse with quick-swap rechargeable batties. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the scroll wheel on it is pretty clicky, and I prefer a smooth wheel like my wife has on her mouse, but considering how great the mouse is otherwise, I can handle that, but I do hope they change it in the next version.
But on to the keyboard. I chose a Logitech DiNovo Edge, and I like it quite a bit. It uses a rechargeable battery like my mouse does, and I think I could do just as well with regular batteries, but the charge seems to last a really long time, so that’s okay. The keys have a nice feel to them. They are really quiet, which I like (I think Joy likes her keys to be a little clickier), and they are kind of a cross between a regular keyboard and a keyboard on a laptop. So it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I like it. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the lack of a number keypad. Now I understand they were probably going for small and sleek, but a version with a number keypad wouldn’t exactly be unreasonable.
