I attended the monthly meeting of the East Tennessee Reef Club today, and I have to say it was pretty cool. I had “met” quite a few of the people online before, and a couple of them in person, but today I got to meet everybody “for real”. The club seems like a great group of people. The host for the meeting today had a beautiful 240 gallon aquarium. We had food and drinks and chatted for a while, then one of the members showed everyone how to make homemade frag plugs for propagating corals. Everyone was really friendly and I had a great time. It’s neat to see that there are so many other reefkeeprs around here, and I’m sure the club will end up being a great resource as I continue to move toward getting my new aquarium set up.
