We had a great time at Charis’s birthday party today. We had a picnic in the backyard with lots of family and one crazy little one year old. Charis was even in a good mood for her party, which was extra nice. After lunch we had cupcakes, and it was the first time we let Charis eat anything sugary/dessert/sweet. I think she liked it! Joy did a wonderful job getting all of the food together and decorating the backyard, and she also made really cute ladybug cupcakes. Charis received some wonderful gifts that she already seems to enjoy. I can’t believe it has already been a year!
