People who knew me when I was younger know that I used to really like penguins. I found this picture taken at the Academy Awards yesterday, and I think it’s great. It’s a shot of the producer and director of “March of the Penguins” (which won for best documentary). Where can I get one of those giant stuffed penguins?

I am doing a short unit on Mr. Popper’s Penguins right now during standardized testing. I think of you EVERY day when I read it to my students and and see their projects. :) Penguins are cool!

True, I definitely still like penguins. But I used to really, REALLY like penguins. I think I’ve toned it down a bit over the years. :-) However, I certainly still like them enough to want one of those cool giant ones like in the picture.

You absolutely LOVED penguins!!! I think you knew every kind and devoured every book about them. Not to mention having a million stuffed ones in your room. :):)
Do you remember the picture with the penguin at Sea World? Hmmmm…I may have to look that up. :)
