Tonight Joy and I played Gobblet and Blokus, two of the new board games that I got for Christmas. I really liked Gobblet. It’s deceptively simple and very quick to play. I think Joy and I played maybe 6 or 7 rounds. Joy liked Blokus better, and I also thought it was a lot of fun. After just a few sets of moves it quickly becomes very difficult to place your pieces. I think I’ll need to play it several more times to get a better feel for the strategy.
