What in the world is IronPython, you ask? The short answer is that it is something that completely slipped under my radar until today. Apparently Microsoft is developing a .Net compatible version of the Python programming language. They just released the beta a couple of days ago.
I’ve been trying to determine which scripting language to spend some time getting a bit more familiar with, and I was leaning towards Perl because of its sheer ubiquity. However, this makes me reconsider selecting Python instead (at least for now).
