What a great description of an incredibly wonderful time, Brad. You are so right about Becca looking different. Somehow after the marriage ceremony she just looked like Matt's wife. Content - at peace - and full of joy. I'll never forget it!
Love, Mom

Yes, I agree that Matt really came through to get us back to the church on time, which I almost surely would not have done. We cut it very close. When we got to the church, my brother stopped the car in the middle of the road and we both jumped out right there and my brother threw the keys back to Tyson so he could go park the car.

I still have no idea how we spaced out the fact that they would need us for pictures with Becca. After the shots with Matt-the-groom, the photographer said, "OK, that's it for the groomsmen. Thanks!" I guess we took that literally, not remembering that, in addition to being groomsmen, we also fell into the "family of the bride" category. I bet I'll think that kind of thing through a little more thoroughly for future weddings. :-)

Also, it's not like I went to wash my own car. The groomsmen are there to help out the groom, and that's exactly what we did.

I'm sure you fit in with the Estrogen Brigade Sat morning... even if you did detour to look at electronics (I think the CC/BB gene is embedded into anyone that works with technology for a living and those stores seem to fascinate... but I'm also betting you wished for a brief moment you HAD hair to do. hehehe)
Here all this time I thought you were the "responsible" one... and to almost miss the pictures for a clean car... SHAME!
Kudos to Brother-Matt for supberb driving skills (because, yes... if you had been behind the wheel, you may have not made it for the wedding itself... pokey poke). ;) You know I'm right.

Thanks for such a sweet write-up, Brad. I'll be sure Matt gets to read it too. :)

I can't believe you almost missed family pictures! You seemed to appear so naturally out by the trees--I never would have guessed!

Thank you also for taking us to the salon Saturday morning. It was a blessing to me to see you then, too. And thanks for sharing your wife with me so much in all of the planning and prepartion. We love you guys so much!
