And while the dots are clear and therefore more difficult to see than I anticipated, they are not RIGHT next to each other... kind of kitty corner. :) I actually went and bought more (gasp!) for the placecard embellishments. They worked a little more easily for that because I could apply the little embellishment to the sticky dot, instead of the big program. I guess small pieces of double sided tape would have worked if they were cut in half so they wouldn't be as wide. Sounds like that may have been easier. ;) I'm all for duct tape myself - I even have a server held together with it.... been holding strong for over 3 years now.
