Last night was the season premiere of Gilmore Girls (my favorite show on tv, number one season pass on my TiVo). It was very cool to finally see a new episode after the summer break, but I have to admit that I thought the premiere was somewhat lackluster. There were two great parts:
- Lorelai: Will you marry me?
Luke: Yes.
Lorelai: Are you sure?
Luke: Yes.
Lorelai: Do you want to think about it?
Luke: No. - The part where Michel meets Emily at Lorelai’s house. Very funny.
Other than that, it was just average. Though the premiere wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for, I’m still holding out hope that the rest of the season will quickly ramp back up to meet my expectations.
I agree! Those were my two favorite parts of the episode too. :)
