Over the past few weeks I’ve listened to all of the CDs I have in my car and now I’ve wrapped back around again to “Lonely Runs Both Ways” by Alison Krauss and Union Station. On the way through my CDs I listened to Eva Cassidy, Marc Cohn, Dixie Chicks, David Gray, Harrod and Funck, Jewel, Norah Jones, Keb Mo, Sarah McLachlan, Linda Ronstadt, Mindy Smith, Sting, U2, The Wallflowers, and the cast recordings for Into the Woods and Wicked. I listened to ITW 5 times in row and Wicked 11 times before moving on from them. I still love Wicked and I hope to see it when it comes to Atlanta next year (fingers crossed for good tickets).
So do I still like LRBW as much as the last time I posted about it? The answer would have to be yes, yes I do. And I’ve got a few more “favorite” songs now, including “Wouldn’t Be So Bad”, “Borderline”, “Doesn’t Have To Be This Way”, “If I Didn’t Know Any Better”. If I keep listening to this album, I think I might end up with every song being a “favorite”.
I still think you need professional help. Maybe even more so now.

Have you even listened to the CD? Alison Krauss and Union Station really is great music, not like some of the other, um, more “interesting” things I’ve mentioned in the past.

HOOOOOOOOOHA! I’m laying over my chair laughing like a mad woman. I saw the LR and immediately thought Linda Ronstadt.. no, it doesn’t make sense, but it did to me at the time. HEHHEHEHEHEE I like what Alison I’ve heard, so I won’t poke fun at you there… So tell me, somewhere in the deep recesses, you have some Celine, don’t you? ;)

OK, now that is an insult. I am happy to report that I have ZERO Celine CDs. I have never owned a Celine CD in the past, I do not own one now, and I never will. Everyone has their limit. Celine lovers, please proceed with your lives. To each his own.

Not this time. Check out my music list. Lots of music, some better, some worse, but no Celine. Not even a single song in a compilation album. None.
Shoot. I just checked and actually the Titanic soundtrack is on the list, and it has a Celine song. But that is my wife’s CD. Maybe I need to get rid of it when she’s not looking…

Love, Your wife! :)
