Today at work JP rediscovered two of the old bird projects. It turns out we had stashed them in a cubby in Martin’s pod the last time the company moved. We took them over to JP’s pod and set them back up and I got a few extra pictures of the guillotine setup since I only had one picture from the original. We have quite a few new employees since we originally did the bird projects, so everyone enjoyed checking them out.
What in the world is this? Explanation after the jump.
The bird projects are from before the cardboard animals and they overlapped a little bit with the office decorating. Martin had a little stuffed animal bird that he kept around his office. One day while he was stuck in an afternoon meeting, we “burned it at the stake”. Things just went downhill from there. I have pictures of all five bird projects in my work photo gallery, including the stake, the guillotine, drowning the bird, the alien abduction, and “reboot the bird” (my personal favorite).
You forgot to mention that since Martin never seems to notice anything, we had to get bigger and better each time (took him literally DAYS to find the first one… which isn’t credited here… at all…. because there’s no photo documentation… but YOU know what I’m talking about). *hmph*

It’s not my fault you didn’t take a picture of the original. :-) If you recreate it and take pics, I’ll post them. How does that sound?
