Wow! This past week and a few days with Charis has been quite an adventure. I never dreamed it would be so much work to take care of a newborn, but I also never would have guessed that I’d love it so much. I think I could just hold her and stare at her for days on end. It’s almost impossible to believe that Charis has only been here a little over a week. It seems like she’s been a part of our lives forever.
Joy and I are starting to get out and about a little bit this week. Yesterday we took Charis by the office where Joy used to work and today we took her by my office. I think everyone really enjoyed seeing her and I know that Joy and I really liked the chance to get out of the house for a little while.
