I read on CNN this morning that Mariah Carey has a new album coming out today. That reminded me how much I liked her first two albums when they originally came out. Is it okay to say that, or am I know considered hopelessly tasteless? Anyway, whatever happened to that Mariah Carey? I can’t stand any of her new stuff, but if she came out with a new album like the first two, I might actually buy it.
I’m going with “hopelessly tasteless”. ;) Mariah has always reminded me of the scene in the movie “Splash” where Madison blows out all the windows and TVs… except I think Madison sounded better.

Yeah Carrie must be hopelessly tasteless….I like how Mariah explores different genres of music. She hasn’t made a bad album in my opinion. Maybe she’s made albums that don’t go with the image everyone has of her, but I respect her musical genius.
